It’s been 13 years since Bradwardine’s 360-page history book was published. Bradwardine and District — A Century and More records history of the area and its people from 1880-2003. Of the 500 initial book order, sales are still being made for the remaining unsold 20 copies. (If you would like one, please phone 204-328-7176.)

On Monday, Feb. 8 Kenton Legion Ladies Auxiliary hosted the Zone 26 meeting at Kenton Legion Branch 118 clubroom. Bringing greetings from RM of Wallace-Woodworth was Gerry Nolan and from Kenton Legion Mike Ramsden, who is also the deputy district commander.

RM of Oakview - Jan. 12: Costs for the primary care facility in Minnedosa were discussed as well as financing and funding; a per capita levy was discussed. The building committee reported on repairs that are required for the Ward 2 machine shop. Cellphone boosters for Rapid City were discussed. Councillor Gavin Reynolds updated Council on repairs required for Rapid City rink.

Hound of the Baskervilles delights Neepawa audience

The Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre (MTC) made a stop in Neepawa on Feb. 4 as part of their regional tour. The performance was included in the Kaleidoscope concert series this season. The traveling acting troupe put on a production of Hound of the Baskervilles, a Sherlock Holmes story by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle that was adapted to a comedy play.
