Grove of OCN Blizzard named MJHL player of the week

Tyler Grove of the OCN Blizzard has been named the Manitoba Junior Hockey League player of the week for the week ending Oct. 13.

The 20-year-old veteran forward netted seven goals and two assists in four games for the Blizzard, who sit atop the Sher-Wood Division with seven wins and 15 points.

The runners up for the award were 20-year-old defenceman Garrett Schmitz of the Steinbach Pistons and 20-year-old goaltender Braeden Ostepchuk of the Selkirk Steelers.
