The Winnipeg Jets lost 5-4 in a shootout to the Washington Capitals on Tuesday night in NHL action.
Martin Erat scored the game winner in the sixth round of the shootout for the Capitals, who also received a four point performance (two goals, two assists) from Alex Ovechkin in the process.
Bryan Little scored two goals for the Jets, who dropped to 4-5-1 this season. Grant Clitsome and Blake Wheeler netted the other tallies for Winnipeg in the loss.
The Jets begin a four-game road trip in Nashville on Thursday night.
