Two Brandon-based teams are out of the running in the Winnipeg High School Football League playoffs.
The Crocus Plainsmen lost 41-28 to the Sturgeon Heights Huskies in a Kas Vidruk AA Division quarter-final matchup on Thursday.
Victor St. Pierre, who had a fantastic season as a running back for the Plainsmen, had an 80-yard kick return touchdown in the loss for Crocus.
Meanwhile, the Neelin Spartans were shut out by the St. Paul's Crusaders 20-0 in their Kas Vidruk AA Division quarter-final contest.
