The Manitoba Junior Hockey League's Portage Terriers have recently traded former Yellowhead Chiefs blueliner Nolan Speiss to the OCN Blizzard for future considerations.

The 18-year-old from Minnedosa, listed at 6-foot-3 and 188 pounds, is in his rookie season in the league and through five games, has registered an assist.

The Blizzard made another transaction recently, trading 20-year-old defenceman Tim Kavanaugh to the SIJHL's Dryden Ice Dogs for future considerations.
