A four-point night from Winnipeg's own Jonathan Toews helped the visiting Chicago Blackhawks defeat the Jets 6-3 on Thursday night at the MTS Centre.

Toews' goal and three assists, along tallies from Patrick Kane, Brandon Saad, Marian Hossa, Ben Smith and Patrick Sharp helped the Hawks improve to 15-4-4 this season.

Jets captain Andrew Ladd, Keaton Ellerby and Dustin Byfuglien scored for the Jets, who dropped to 10-11-3 on the year.

Corey Crawford stopped 22 Winnipeg shots to pick up the win in net for Chicago, while Jets netminder Ondrej Pavelec finished with 27 saves.

The jets host the Minnesota Wild on Saturday afternoon at the MTS Centre. The game gets underway at 2:00 p.m.
