The Neepawa Tigers are off to a solid start this season in the Westman High School Hockey League.

The Tigers won their fifth game of the season earlier this week, edging the Crocus Plainsmen in overtime. Garett Rempel was the OT hero, scoring his second of the night shorthanded for the Tigers who defeated the Plainsmen 3-2 on Tuesday night at the Optimist Arena in Brandon.

Bryson Kaye scored in the second period before Rempel netted his first goal of the night in the final 20 minutes for the Tigers.

The Tigers have a busy couple of weeks ahead as the high school team will take part in a tournament in Huron, South Dakota this upcoming weekend and will later play in the annual Victoria Inn tournament in Brandon.
