Royals win Tiger Hills title

The Deloraine Royals are the Tiger Hills Hockey League champions.

The Royals defeated the host Gladstone Lakers 5-3 on Wednesday night. With the victory, the Royals won the best-of-five championship final in four games.

Ryan Marsh scored twice to lead the Royals, while Kelsey Sunaert, Mitch Olson and Brad Twordik also netted tallies for Deloraine.

Blaine Jarvis, Dan Leslie and Tanner Waldvogel scored for Gladstone in  the loss.

The Royals will now advance to the senior A provincials at the Hockey Manitoba Cup, April 17-19.
