Despite their “involvement”, there are many people in Westman, a relatively rural part of Canada, with absolutely no connection to the industry that provides their food. Last week though, people from across the province had the chance to get up close and personal with agriculture during the 109th Royal Manitoba Winter Fair (RMWF).

May 27, 1966 saw the first day of the first ever Neepawa Fine Arts Festival. Now known as the Neepawa and District Fine Arts Festival, the event will be celebrating its 50th anniversary from April 10 to 13.

Downtown Neepawa landmark demolished

A familiar structure along Neepawa’s Mountain Avenue has been torn down. On Tuesday, Apr. 5, the garage for the former Murray’s of Neepawa building was demolished. The adjoining showroom remains intact on the property and there are no plans to knock that building down.
