Farmery to begin brewing in Neepawa this spring

Chris and Lawrence Warwaruk’s dream will come one step closer to reality this spring. In 2011, the brothers set out to build Canada’s first estate brewery, which they called Farmery, and at the end of April, they will take delivery of their new brewing equipment. Not only is Farmery a microbrewery, all of the inputs used to make the beer are grown on their Arden-area farm.

Neepawa Area Collegiate
On Feb. 8 and 9, 17 Grade 9 NACI students and their 18 exchange partners from Quebec participated in workshops and tours at the Human Rights Museum in Winnipeg. Sponsorship from Great West Life as well as a partnership between Experiences Canada (formerly “SEVEC”) and the Canadian Museum for Human Rights made this opportunity possible.
