Successful sale for Rivers Chamber

For the past 37 years, Rivers and District Chamber of Commerce has held a fall fundraiser. It began as a Shopper’s Jamboree the first week in October; 11 years later it became Crafty the Scarecrow’s Harvest of Crafts Show and Sale and finally, seven years ago, the Home and Craft Show. The all-time high was 59 tables in 2011; 44 has been the number for the last four years.

Our business in Neepawa was supposed to be twofold. First we had planned to golf the beautiful golf course and then we were to meet up with local historian, Cecil Pittman.

Councillors have been notified that Manitoba Infrastructure and Transportation recently contacted the Town regarding proposed upgrades to Provincial Highway 16.

Free mature driver workshop returning to Neepawa

Safety Services Manitoba will be partnering with HAND to provide a workshop on Tuesday, Oct. 6 at 9 am in the back room at the Neepawa Library, 280 Davidson St.
