Come for a visit and meet Charley’s Aunt

By Lorraine Russell

Minnedosa Drama Club is presenting a British comedy of mistaken identity, witty dialogue and slapstick humour this November. The play will be presented as a dinner theatre on Nov. 28 and 29 and a "no frills" night on Nov 27. This is the club’s third foray into comedy theatre; the club intends to keep on nurturing new actors and putting on two shows a year.

Under the direction of the talented Mary Dalton, amateur talent flourishes. Rehearsals and set building are well underway in the newly-acquired space on the second floor of Minnedosa’s town hall. Tickets sales are brisk but still available from Peggy (call 204-867-2113). Charley's Aunt has  a cast of 10 and includes Brittany MacDonald (formerly of Rivers) and other actors from the Westman area.
