RCMP Sgt. Bert Paquet has confirmed that 31 year old Tyson Pashe was arrested at around 1:20 p.m. "following a brief foot pursuit," The accused was found thanks to tips from people in the community about his whereabouts.

Neepawa and District Fine Arts Festival celebrates half a century

May 27, 1966 saw the first day of the first ever Neepawa Fine Arts Festival. Now known as the Neepawa and District Fine Arts Festival, the event will be celebrating its 50th anniversary from April 10 to 13.

Campbell retires after nearly 40 years of service

At a retirement event held at the Chicken Corral on March 24, RCMP municipal employee, Jo-Anne Campbell was recognized for her nearly 40 years of exemplary service. The celebration was attended by former and present detachment members and community colleagues.

Downtown Neepawa landmark demolished

A familiar structure along Neepawa’s Mountain Avenue has been torn down. On Tuesday, Apr. 5, the garage for the former Murray’s of Neepawa building was demolished. The adjoining showroom remains intact on the property and there are no plans to knock that building down.
