Right in the Center - Don’t be so negative, Ok?

In just about every TV show, on-line story or in actual conversations, I hear so much negativity.

The TV shows are a riot, especially the real estate ones. A couple looks at three houses, picks the one best suited to them and then goes hard on renovations. The initial negativity really galls me.

As the calender turned to another year, I reflected on a few things. For example, this weekly column is well over number 1,750. Seems like a lot of writing and hopefully a few words or phrases put on this page since October 1989 have been helpful to some people.

Right in the centre - Opinions are like noses

New Year’s is always a time to reflect, maybe plan ahead, contemplate changes. One thing that I have been pondering is how divided people have become on various issues. I won’t air a shopping list of issues but everybody has a list. There are tons of issues and everyone has a different list. Everyone has their preferences and that is a good thing hopefully. Opinions are like noses, everyone has one.

Right in the centre - O Come Let Us Adore Him 2022

The familar strains of the song, OCome Let U Adore Him is well know around the world. The e words and music have implored millions of listeners to come and adore the Baby Jesus and to follow him. The name Jesus means “saviour”or “rescuer”.

The birth of Jesus was predicted for centuries in the Jewish faith. It also marked the end of the Old Testament, or old covenant, and the beginning of New Testament, or new covenant. Traditionally, the New Testament implores people to accept Jesus as Saviour from their sin. A person who accepts Jesus as Saviour is known as a Christian.

Right in the centre - Titles are important

Every one has a title. A title, while it may not be of the royal kind, is important. As I was trying to fall asleep one night recently, I whimsically started to think of some titles I have.
